Chris Henderson Shares Bucket List & Releases ‘My Regret’

‘My Regret’, the latest single from up and coming country singer, Chris Henderson, has us hitting repeat again and again. The song came about as Chris and co-writer Troy Kokol discussed the various regrets that can evolve from a night out.

“My Regret was co-written with Troy Kokol, early in 2016. I had played a show the night before and was telling Troy about some of the “questionable approaches” I witnessed from gentlemen who were seeking attention. Troy and I talked about how there are likely many people who wake up and think, “I can’t believe I said/did that last night”, and wish they could have done things a little differently.”

Inspired by his song ‘My Regret’, we asked Chris Henderson to share the top items he’d like to check off his bucket list as a musician and in general.

Chris Henderson’s Bucket List (Musician):

1. Top 40 song
2. Write a top 10
3. Play shows in Europe
4. Still performing in my 80’s

5. Record an acoustic album

Chris Henderson’s Bucket List (Personal):

1. Become a Father
2. Rescue a dog
3. Visit Europe
4. Sky-diving (still haven’t done that)
5. Publish a book

In March, Chris Henderson will take part of Telemiracle, a 20-hour telethon that raises money for Saskatchewan residents with special needs. Telemiracle is a much-anticipated event in Saskatchewan every year. Chris shares his gratitude for the event:

Telemiracle is one of the greatest experiences a musician can ask for. Bringing together an entire province around a cause like that is incredibly powerful, and it’s an honour to be involved in any way. Music has an incredible power, and events like that are a great reminder that we have a responsibility to use our talents to help people in whatever way we can.”
