Our pick of the week is Petric’s ‘Here Goes Everything’. We were lucky enough to chat with the Manitoba duo about their new music and working with multi-platinum selling artist Dallas Smith. TC: What was the inspiration behind ‘Here Goes Everything’?
P: For us, ‘Here Goes Everything’ is about laying it all out there. When your passionate about someone or something, you give it everything you have. I think everybody can relate to that, whether it’s with a relationship or something else in your life.
TC: Which artists do you look up to?
P: Keith Urban has been one of our idols and favourites since we started listening to music. We also have a great amount of respect for Nickelback. They come from a small town, and with a lot of hard work they conquered the world and music industry. Very inspiring.
TC: What is it like working with Dallas Smith?
P: Dallas is awesome. He’s become a really good friend, and really helpful. At times he’s come right into the vocal booth to help us work out a line. Every now and then it hits us that, “holy crap, we’re working with a multi award winning, rockstar, country star, Dallas Smith!!!”
TC: One word to describe each of your personalities:

TC: Top Country Moment?
P: Opening up for Dallas Smith this past January in our hometown was a pretty surreal moment. The Club Regent Event Centre , where we performed, is just 5 minutes down the road from where we grew up, and our fans really brought the love that night.
