You’ll want to capture every moment, even the embarrassing ones, so don’t forget to bring along a camera. Leica’s D-LUX5 Compact Digital Camera ($799 USD, Amazon) will document all of the good times and amazing memories you’ll be making.
If you have a tendency to get lost but don’t want to admit it, try a GPS like the Garmin eTrex ($295, Mountain Equipment). But don’t rely on it too much…sometimes getting lost is half the fun!
