TC Video Premiere: Jessica Mitchell 'A Place Called Gone'

Co-written with John Goodwin, ‘A Place Called Gone’ is one of the 3 new tracks that country fans were given today from Jessica Mitchell on her debut EP “Hold Onto The Light“.

“I’ll be living in a place called gone” is one of my favorite lyrics I’ve ever collaborated on. It’s about no one in particular, which is what I love about it. It’s an empowering example of being okay with leaving someone, no matter who that person is. Sometimes there’s so much to be said about taking the reigns of your own wagon so to speak, and getting the hell out of there. No need for looking back, just look forward. Go where you feel loved and appreciated, and enjoy the ride on the way there.

We haven’t been able to stop listening to Jess since we were first introduced to her last year. It’s hard not to love her music when it’s just so darn relatable. ‘A Place Called Gone’ is no exception and we are honoured to be able to premiere the video Jessica created to compliment it’s release.
