It’s time for another Wayback Playback Wednesday! This week’s Wayback Playback, “Take It Like A Man”, is from one of Canada’s most widely recognized and awarded female country singers of the 90s… Michelle Wright!
“Take It Like A Man” was released in February 1992 as the first single from Wright’s album Now And Then. The song ended up becoming her first number one on the Canadian RPM Country Tracks charts that year and it was also her only Top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart in the U.S.. The song went on to win Single of the Year and Video of the Year from the Canadian Country Music Association.
