Chances are you may have heard the much anticipated CMT Music Awards air tonight at 8:00 PM ET. Here’s a list of 5 Things We’re Looking Forward To during tonight’s show.

1. Kristen Bell Hosting

It’s her third year hosting the show and although she’s going solo this year (she’s co-hosted with Toby Keith and Jason Aldean in the past) we’re pretty sure she’s going to rock it. And even though she’s denied any plans of showing off her pipes during the show we remain hopeful that she will sing us a little something!

2. 24 Performances by 28 Artists

Not many shows can pack in as many performances as the CMT Music Awards are planning to this year. 28 artists will be performing 24 songs live tonight, that’s crazy! Tonight’s performers include: Blake Shelton, Brantley Gilbert, Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Jake Owen and Lady Antebellum.

3. Mind-Blowing Collaborations

As expected this year’s show will include lots of amazing collaborations; pop superstar Jason Derulo will be performing with Luke Bryan and Florida Georgia Line while John Legend will be performing with Jennifer Nettles and Hunter Hayes.

4. Alan Jackson Tribute

Kacey Musgraves and Lee Ann Womack are set to take the stage in tribute to Alan Jackson tonight who is being honoured for his 20 years of memorable music videos – and as a bonus Carrie Underwood will be presenting the honour!
