Since it’s National Puppy Day, we just had to ask Jess Moskaluke to share puppy photos and stories!
The ‘Drive Me Away’ singer has rescued two dogs, Shya and Nala. Shya, Jess Moskaluke’s first rescue passed away last Christmas and Nala was adopted in March 2016. In honour of National Puppy Day, we asked Jess about rescuing her pups and what it’s like having a dog as an artist.
TC: When did you really start becoming pro-adoption? Have you always rescued your dogs?
JM: Honestly, it found me. Clay came home one day and said he found a dog. We really hadn’t been seriously looking, but we absolutely fell in love with one that was being fostered in our hometown, Rocanville, and the rest is history. Shya was our first rescue dog!
