Dylan Armstrong is a champion shot putter from Kamloops, BC; clearly at the top of his game as the Commonwealth and Pan Am champion, he also placed second at the IAAF world championships in 2011. In 2008 in at the Olympic Games in Beijing, he missed out on a medal by a single centimeter placing fourth.

He seems ready to go this year as he had set a season’s best of 21.50 leading up to the London Games. Perhaps Canada’s best bet for a gold medal.
