Our ‘Chick Singer, Guitar Slinger’ host Hayley recently sat down with TC and caught up about her favourites at Christmas.
1. What is your favourite Christmas memory?
My favorite Christmas memory is the first Christmas we spent on our sailboat in Mexico…I was 6 years old and so excited that Santa had manged to come all the the way down to meet us…and especially that he had landed all of the reindeer on our tiny bow. I was mystified.
2. What’s your favourite dish on your family’s Christmas menu?
My favorite dish on our family’s menu is my Gran’s cheesy potatoes…I’ve been told it’s made of calories that don’t count…and rainbows.
3. What’s your all-time favourite Christmas song?
‘Run, Run Rudolph’ has to take the cake for favourite Christmas song. It is Chuck Berry after all, and I’m a guitar player. How could I not?
4. What’s your favourite family Christmas tradition?
My favorite Christmas tradition is decorating the tree. We keep all of our ornaments from over the years, so it’s like a walk down memory lane that gets more entertaining every Christmas.
5. What’s the one Christmas album you couldn’t live without?
The Oakridge Boys mean Christmas time to me. Our family listened(s) to that album all December long since as far back as I can remember. That said, I can’t not mention ‘All I Want For Christmas is You’…I will dance around the house with myself and sometimes others to that song at least 7 times this December.
