This week, we want to take a look back at the Music Rescues event aimed at supporting animal rescue initiatives across the country. The day featured performances from many of Canada’s favourite country music stars who came out in support of an important cause.

Each year, tens of thousands of animals are being received by animal shelters across Canada. They all need homes! By raising awareness, we hope that people in search of a furry companion will look to adopt a pet from a shelter instead of shopping for and buying one from a store.

Madeline Merlo, Jess Moskaluke, Jojo Mason, Leaving Thomas, Sons Of Daughters, and Jenna Walker of the Reklaws were among a handful of names that were apart of the event. It was definitely a day to remember and we can’t wait to do it again! Scroll down to check out some of the highlights from Music Rescues and remember to adopt, not shop!
