About Genevieve Fisher:

Genevieve Fisher, currently 22 years old, is regarded as one Canada’s most promising young female country artists. With 3 top 50 hit songs on Canadian national radio over the last 2 years, she has quickly established herself as an industry favourite. In 2012, Genevieve was selected by the Canadian Country Music Association to perform at the New Artist Showcase during Country Music Week held in Saskatoon. In May of 2013, Genevieve performed at, and earned a nomination for Female Artist of the Year, at the inaugural Country Music Association of Ontario music awards. Later in the year, Genevieve gained added recognition when the music video for her hit “Bad Enough” was added into regular rotation on CMT. Earlier this year, Genevieve traveled to Nashville where she enjoyed co-writing sessions with Jason Blaine, Steven Lee Olsen, and Patricia Conroy. Recently, Genevieve was selected by the Canadian Country Music Association, along with Tim Hicks, to perform at the press conference to announce the exciting news that that her hometown of London Ontario was selected to host the 2016 Country Music Week. Over the last few months, Genevieve has been in the studio with award winning producer Jason Barry working on her new tracks including her just released single Night In Night Out. On the live show front, Genevieve had a busy summer performing at Boots & Hearts, Boot Hill Jamboree, Rockin’ Wheel, as well as an exciting opening show for Lee Brice. This combined with previous opening act performances for such stars as Hunter Hayes, David Nail, Dean Brody, Doc Walker, Brett Kissel and Great Big Sea all point to a very promising place for Genevieve on the Canadian Country Music.
