This week, singer-songwriter Trinity Bradshaw released Open Skies, a 6-track EP bursting with talent!

Bradshaw starts off strong with ‘Never Drinking Again’ her current radio single, a catchy and upbeat song. It’s perfect for the upcoming summer season with the fun and easy to relate to lyrics. Secondly is ‘In The Middle Of Us’, a gorgeous love song that shows off a real genuine quality to her voice.

My favourite song from the EP is ‘I Want What I Want’ this Miranda Lambert  girl power type anthem has lyrics like “Well ain’t no man gonna keep me down/ Why don’t you sit down, Watch me run this town/I’ve put in my time and I’ve learned my place” — ” Well I just want what I want when I want it/ I just want what I want when I want it/ So look into my eyes when you’re talking to me/There’s more to a woman than a tight pair of jeans, so R-E-S-P-E-C-T me”.

“Guns Don’t Kill Good Men ( Love Does)”, reminds me of an old western movie with a feel good vibe. Next up is “Missing You” a cover of the popular John Waite song, Bradshaw does a brilliant job at evoking emotion through the raspy tone to her voice. The final song is “Never Giving Up” a wonderful slow tempo song with a sad but beautiful message.

Trinity is clearly very talented and I look forward to hearing more music from her in the future.
