St. Patty’s Day is right around the corner and with that comes beer, beer, and green beer. For beer drinker’s everywhere it’s the best holiday, as it makes drinking copious amounts of your favourite brew until you pass out completely acceptable.

If you’re planning on going out this St. Patrick’s Day, one of the biggest decisions that you and your friends will face is which bar to go to. Holidays such as this see most bars and pubs completely packed to the brim, and there’s nothing worse than having to wait in a line outside in the cold, or being neck to neck with a stranger while your simply trying to enjoy a Guinness.

Luckily for you, we’ve rounded up our picks of the top bars to celebrate at this St. Patrick’s Day, helping you plan early so that you’re last minute decision doesn’t leave you out in the cold.

1. Rock n’ Horse Saloon – Toronto, ON

The Rock n’ Horse Saloon has a little bit of something for everyone. Country Karaoke, dancing, bull riding and of course, great country music. There are booths in case you prefer to just sit, drink and visit with your friends and a fair size dance floor in case tearing it up to the Boot Scootin’ Boogie is more your speed.

2. Cowboy’s Dance Hall – Calgary, AB

Home to a large range of big events throughout the year, Cowboy’s is slightly less bar, and a little more club. It’s a good option for people who like to really go out and dance. The dance floor is huge and the music selection is awesome, playing a large range of classic oldies and fun, upbeat new country. 3. The Yale Saloon – Vancouver, BC

The Yale Saloon has great music, dancing, and a mechanical bull, but they also have amazing food to boot! Featuring a full menu of southern style BBQ that includes housemade bacon, smoked brisket and pulled pork, the Yale Saloon ensures that you will not leave hungry. Which makes it the perfect spot for a bunch of drunk people like yourselves.

4. The High and Lonesome Club – Winnipeg, MB

Not a fan of clubs? Perhaps a cozy little dive bar is more your style. The High and Lonesome Club has a great atmosphere, offers cheap food and even has live music. The perfect combination to ensure an excellent St. Patrick’s Day celebration.

5. Outlaws – Saskatoon, SK

Outlaws plays a blend of top 40, rock and of course, country music all night long. They offer awesome drink deals on feature nights and feature Saskatoon’s only mechanical bull. The dance floor is big, but there is also plenty of sitting room for those who prefer not to show off their line-dancing skills. It’s the perfect place to grab a green beer and toast to the Irish.
