Summertime is here and everyone has their summer vacations mapped out. Some people will opt for a road trip, while others prefer to stay in one spot and go camping. Some people will look for adventure, while others will seek out the simpler pleasures in life, such as lying on a beach with a beer in your hand. Some people will travel, while others will stay put and enjoy all that their city has to offer in the summer.
No matter what category you fall into, there is one summer activity that is appealing for just about everyone – a concert. Who doesn’t love a good concert? They are high energy, exciting and so much fun.
Seeing your favourite artists on stage is exhilarating, fun and will be a memory you surely won’t forget for a lifetime. To help you decide which concerts you will check off your bucket list this year, we’ve narrowed it down to the top 5 country concerts to see in Toronto this summer.
1. Shania Twain
The queen of country is back and touring after the release of her newest album, Now, in 15 years! We have waited for this moment for a long time and now it is almost finally here. Her Now Tour will make a stop in Toronto, Performing on both July 6 and 7. If history has taught us anything, it’s that Twain is surely to rock the roof off of the Air Canada Centre as she has done in the past. This is one concert that you definitely do not want to miss.
2. Zac Brown Band
Zac Brown Band will be gracing Toronto with their presence on July 13. The “Chicken Fried” singers released a new album, Welcome Home, in mid-2017. Now they are hitting the road with their Down The Rabbit Hole Live Tour, and ready to perform for your listening pleasure.
3. Dean Brody
Dean Brody will be heading to the Budweiser Stage on August 17. Brody’s high energy, incredible stage presence and mesmerizing voice will be the perfect way to say a good goodbye to a summer well spent.
One thing about the summertime, is that it seems to not only be our favourite time of the year, but our favourite country artists’ as well.
