It’s time to reflect on some of our favourite moments from 2018 as we turn the page on a fantastic year for country music. There was rarely a dull moment in 2018 and Canadian country’s biggest stars can definitely back that up.

From Hall of Fame inductions to red carpet moments, Canadian country music had a lot to be proud of this year. There were far too many great moments in 2018 and to list them all would take until 2020!

As we get ready for 2019, let’s look back at a few of our favourite moments from an exciting 2018!

Terri Clark inducted into the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame

Terri Clark was inducted into the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame cementing her legacy as a country music legend. This was defintley one of the biggest moments at the 2018 CCMA Awards!

The 2018 CMA Red Carpet

Top Country brought a little bit of Canada to Nashville for the 2018 CMA Awards as our correspondent Kevin Wendt spoke to country music’s biggest names. Canadians Dominating the Charts

Lindsay Ell, Dean Brody, Dallas Smith, Tebey, Gord Bamford and most recently Meghan Patrick each had number one hits at Canadian country radio this year. That is always a huge accomplishment for a Canadian country artist and each of these names deserve a lot of praise.
