Alan Jackson released Thirty Miles West in 2012 and a gospel album earlier this year; now he will be releasing a new album with a new sound this fall, The Bluegrass Album, scheduled to be released on September 24.
The Bluegrass Album will feature eight original songs and a few covers. Jackson is currently on tour in the US and Canada with an Australian tour with Sara Evans starting in September.
