Kiefer Sutherland and his five piece band have embarked on the second leg of their North American tour, kicking off 11 Canadian dates on June 16 at Peter’s playhouse in Gravenhurst, Ontario.
Country Music Association of Ontario (CMAO) Rising Star and Female Artist of the Year Nominee, Jessica Mitchell, will be opening for most Canadian dates of the tour.
Canadian dates wind up on June 30 in Quebec City (see full listing of dates below). His North American tour is in support of his debut album, Down In A Hole, now available in Canada. Click here to listen to “Not Enough Whiskey” – the debut track from the eagerly anticipated release.
“There is something very satisfying about being able to look back on my own life, good times and bad, and express those sentiments in music,” Sutherland said of his performances. “As much as I have enjoyed the writing and recording process, I am experiencing great joy now being able to play these songs to a live audience, which was something I hadn’t counted on.”
Best known for a 30-year career where he’s starred in movies like Stand By Me and A few Good men, the Canadian-raised actor also starred in the hit TV series 24 and will play the President of the United States this Fall in the ABC series Designated Survivor.
