Tara Oram, best known for her hits ‘Fly Girl’ and ‘Go to Bed Angry’, has been announced as a celebrity judge on the YTV hit show, ‘The Next Star’. The show will help find Canada’s next musical talent and is open to contestants 15 and younger. Oram will join pop artist Keisha Chante along with record executive Mark Spicoluk from Universal Music Canada.
Oram herself found stardom in 2007, placing sixth on Canadian Idol. She has since gone on to have her own reality show on CMT Canada, The Tara Diaries, and won the 2009 Canadian Country Music Association Award for Rising Star.
