Brody’s ‘Canadian Girls’ is #1

Country star Dean Brody has a monster #1 hit on his hands.  His song ‘Canadian Girls’ has reached the top spot on the Mediabase Canada Country Chart. This is a significant accomplishment because this is a chart that includes not only Canadian artists, but U.S. country artists as well. The last time a Canadian country artist, believe it or not, made it to #1 on the chart was in 2008. Terri Clark made it to #1 with her hit song ‘In My Next Life.’

‘Canadian Girls’ takes over the top spot from Lady Antebellum’s ‘Dancin’ Away With My Heart,’ which drops to #4.  Blake Shelton holds down the 2 spot with ‘Drink On It,’ Tim McGraw and ‘Better Than I Used To Be’ is in 3rd, and ‘Alone With You’ by Jake Owen is #5 this week.
