Carrie Underwood to Perform 2016 CMT Music Awards

With just two days until the loudest night in country music, the “2016 CMT Music Awards,” CMT revealed that multiple nominee Carrie Underwood, is set to perform her hit “Church Bells.” Carrie holds the record for most “Video of the Year” wins and also has 3 nominations this year.

CMT kicks off the summer with the 2016 CMT Music Awards airing live from Nashville on June 8 at 8pm ET/PT. Artists scheduled to perform include Blake Shelton and The Oak Ridge Boys, Chris Stapleton, Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban with Brett Eldredge and Maren Morris, Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett, Cam and Fifth Harmony, Dierks Bentley with Elle King, Billy Ray Cyrus with Cheap Trick, Carrie Underwood, and Pitbull with Leona Lewis and Cassadee Pope. Additionally new acts Brothers Osborne, LOCASH, Maren Morris and Michael Ray will perform on the Firestone stage. Actors Vince Vaughn and Rob Riggle, NASCAR driver Danica Patrick, country artists Charles Kelley, Cole Swindell, Dan + Shay and Kellie Pickler, as well as actors Joey Lauren Adams and Madison Iseman from the new upcoming CMT series Still the King are scheduled to present during the show.

Hosted by Erin Andrews and J.J. Watt, the “2016 CMT Music Awards” will broadcast LIVE from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, June 8th at 8:00 PM ET/PT, and will air on CMT. Tickets to the 2016 CMT Music Awards are currently on sale via Ticketmaster.
