‘My Regret’, the latest single from up and coming country singer, Chris Henderson, has us hitting repeat again and again. The song came about as Chris and co-writer Troy Kokol discussed the various regrets that can evolve from a night out.
“My Regret was co-written with Troy Kokol, early in 2016. I had played a show the night before and was telling Troy about some of the “questionable approaches” I witnessed from gentlemen who were seeking attention. Troy and I talked about how there are likely many people who wake up and think, “I can’t believe I said/did that last night”, and wish they could have done things a little differently.”
Inspired by his song ‘My Regret’, we asked Chris Henderson to share the top items he’d like to check off his bucket list as a musician and in general.
Chris Henderson’s Bucket List (Musician):
5. Record an acoustic album
Chris Henderson’s Bucket List (Personal):
In March, Chris Henderson will take part of Telemiracle, a 20-hour telethon that raises money for Saskatchewan residents with special needs. Telemiracle is a much-anticipated event in Saskatchewan every year. Chris shares his gratitude for the event:
“Telemiracle is one of the greatest experiences a musician can ask for. Bringing together an entire province around a cause like that is incredibly powerful, and it’s an honour to be involved in any way. Music has an incredible power, and events like that are a great reminder that we have a responsibility to use our talents to help people in whatever way we can.”
