PLATINUM SELLING COUNTRY STAR DALLAS SMITH JOINS KEITH URBAN AS DIRECT SUPPORT FOR THE CANADIAN LEG OF THE “ripCORD WORLD TOUR 2016”
Platinum selling Country star Dallas Smith announced today that he’ll join Keith Urban as direct support for the Canadian dates on his highly anticipated “ripCORD World Tour 2016”. The Canadian run debuts on September 10th in Smith’s hometown of Vancouver, BC, and marks the start of the arena leg of the world tour. Highlights include first time appearances for Urban in Kelowna and Prince George as well as the first ever country show to take place at the all-new Rogers Place in Edmonton, AB.
On the heels of a career making year that saw Smith receive his first multi-week #1 single at country radio for “Wastin’ Gas”, earn critical acclaim, commercial success and an armful of JUNO and CCMA Award nominations and wins, including the 2015 JUNO Award for Country Album of the Year, and 2015 CCMA Award for Album of the Year, Smith continues to set the pace in 2016 with his delivery of the infectious new single “One Little Kiss” to country radio.
Soaring to the #1 position on the iTunes digital country singles chart upon its April 22nd release via 604 Records, “One Little Kiss” paves the way for Smith’s much in demand third country album due to be released later this summer.
