Garth Brooks to help celebrate Calgary Stampede’s 100th Anniversary

It was announced this morning that Garth Brooks will make his first performance in Alberta in 16 years to take part in the Calgary Stampede‘s 100th Anniversary. This will mark one of the few performances Brooks will do outside of his series of shows at the Wynn in Las Vegas. The concert date has been set for July 12, 2012 with ticket information to be released in the coming weeks.

The Country Music Hall of Fame announced last month that Brooks will become a member of the Hall of Fame later this year.
