On August 4, 2013 some of the biggest names in music are joining forces with business leaders and the Province of Alberta to hold the Halo High Water Benefit Concert and Telethon to raise money for the Calgary Foundation’s Flood Rebuilding Fund.
The event will take place at the Southern Jubilee Auditorium in Calgary and will be broadcast on CBC TV and Radio and Aboriginal Peoples Television Network in conjunction with a telethon that will allow Canadians to donate and support the communities that were impacted by the flooding.
The current lineup for Halo High Water includes country music stars, Paul Brandt, Dean Brody, George Canyon, Carolyn Dawn Johnson & Brett Kissel along with Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductee Jim Cuddy and three time Juno award winner Susan Aglukark.
