Hey Baby! Let’s go to Vegas!

After months of speculation, Tim McGraw’s finally listening to Faith Hill… they’re headed to Vegas, baby!

Mr & Mrs Country Music start their residency at the Venetian December 7th, doing a ten week run.

The show is called “Soul2Soul,” named after their hugely successful co-headlining tours in 2000 and 2006. The shows mark the first time the couple has done a full scale show together in 6 years. They have sold more than 70 million albums and charted more than 40 No. 1 hits between them.

Vegas seems to be all the rage with country these days – Garth Brooks was coaxed out of retirement with a five year deal with the Wynn and Shania Twain recently joined the roster (along with Celine Dion and Elton John) at Caesar’s Palace.

Pre-sale fan club tickets go on sale Wednesday and open to the general public Monday.  No word on price yet, but if Shania’s ticket prices are any indication, you’re looking in the $100-$200 range.  In the meantime, you can get geared up by watching Faith’s Let’s Go to Vegas.

In other Tim news… he’s going to be in a comic book!  FAME: Tim McGraw is a bio-comic chronicling his rise in the music business.  The comic will be available digitally and print copies of the 40 page book will retail for $7.99 and can be found at your local comic book shop or bookstore or pre-order online.  The same company that’s producing the magazine recently produced a sold out bio-comic of Taylor Swift so this one will likely move quickly too.

Sounds like kind of a cute idea, but really, if I want information on anyone, I’d rather buy a real book and get the full story.  Or check the internet.  ;-)
