Have you heard Jennifer Nettles is making a solo record? For all you Sugarland fans, don’t worry, the band isn’t breaking up. However, both Jennifer and Kristian are taking time to explore side projects. When asked about the breakup rumours Jennifer stated: “No, not at all. Just taking time to do things individually, personally and professionally. And we’re super supportive of each other in what we do on both those fronts personally and professionally. So not at all.”
Kristian Bush has also been flooded with questions surrounding the breakup of Sugarland and said: “Oh my God, Jennifer is putting a record out. I couldn’t be anything except her biggest fan.”
Jennifer spoke about the solo project to Billboard stating: “I think this album plays to my roots. There’s country, gospel, 70s music, singer-songwriter stuff, as well. It has been a joy to get to explore those parts of myself. I’m excited and nervous at the same time – all of those things you are when something is important to you.”
