Madeline Merlo dropped the unplugged version of “Unraveling” today. We love it so much, we just had to premiere the video. Plus, you could win a CD, signed poster and tank from the country queen (scroll down).
After previous hits “Neon Love” & “Motel Flamingo”, “Unraveling” is a welcomed departure, showcasing the singer’s remarkable runs and soulful tone.
“Unraveling is one of the most favorite songs I’ve ever written. It shows the weakness and honesty of heartbreak and is inspired by the music I was raised on. Artists like Dolly Parton and Etta James encouraged me to write from a place of truth, even when it feels vulnerable.”
It’s never easy when a relationship comes to an end. Especially when you can’t exactly figure out what went wrong. One day the chemistry is electric and the next it’s nowhere to be found. Madeline captures that feeling perfectly in “Unraveling”.
