Six-Time Grammy Award winner Carrie Underwood has partnered up with OPI & Nicole by OPI to develop fourteen new nail lacquers inspired by…well, herself. The collection features hues for any girl from soft pretty pastels to dark vampy colours and even playful subtle glitters.
This is the first time Nicole by OPI has deisgned a signature shade for a celebrity partner. Carrie’s signature: Carrie’d Away. A few of the other colour names from the line: Carnival Cotton Candy, Some Hearts, Love My Pups, Sing You Like A Bee, Fisher Queen, Color Me Country and Lips are Dripping Honey.
The new shades will be available to most major retailers in January 2014.
This does beg the question; when do celebrity endorsements go too far? Carrie has already had endorsement deals with Sketchers, Nintendo DS, Vitamin Water, Pedigree and Olay. Of course, maybe nail polish is something Carrie is passionate about and really interested in – or maybe it’s all about the money.
