Emerson Drive have always found a way to deliver a ballad that pulls on heartstrings. They did with ‘Moments’ in 2007, and they’re doing it again with ‘With You’ – their latest single off their hit album, Roll.
Currently on the CMT Hitlist Tour with Doc Walker and Aaron Pritchett, the band are no doubt moving people across the country with this song at their shows. The tune is classic Emerson Drive – Brad Mates’ lead vocals shine, as do the harmonies of Danick Dupelle and Dale Wallace. The lyrics – written by Dupelle, Tebey, and Kathleen Higgins – are also spot on. Simple, yet powerful. The way great songs should be written.
