Earlier today a public funeral service for George Jones was held at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tennessee. Artists, friends, and family gathered to remember the music legend. Artists such as Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Kid Rock, Ronnie Milsap, Charlie Daniels, Wynonna, and others sang and toasted the life of a one-of-a-kind man who meant so much to all of them.
Perhaps though, the most moving and emotional performance was from Vince Gill and Patty Loveless, who sang ‘Go Rest High On That Mountain’.
Farewell, Mr. Jones. No one will ever fill your shoes.
