Congratulations to Shane Yellowbird, the Canadian country star’s music is now being heard south of the border. Yellowbird’s debut single release in the United States, ‘Bare Feet on the Blacktop,’ is gaining traction at U.S. country radio. The Yellowbird recording, written by Ashley Gorley and Frank Rogers, is getting played at nearly 100 stations.
“It’s great to finally hear my music south of the 49th,” said Yellowbird. “The fan and radio reaction to the song has been wonderful. ”
The uptempo country tune can be found on Yellowbird’s highly successful sophomore CD, It’s About Time. The album is now available in the United States, as is Yellowbird’s debut Life is Calling My Name. Shane has had five Top 10 hits at country radio in Canada.
