Jessica Mitchell delivered an incredible performance of the title track from ‘Heart of Glass’ this Sunday at the CCMA Awards. We included Jessica’s performance as one of our Top 5 Moments from the CCMA Awards. Her vocals captured the thousands of country music fans at the FirstOntario Centre, leaving us all wanting more. Well that’s exactly what Jessica delivered to us today with the release of her stunning new video for ‘Maybe It’s Me’!
‘Maybe It’s Me’ is the powerful, first single from her debut EP ‘Heart of Glass’. “The bones of ‘Maybe It’s Me’ are about taking a long look in the mirror, and learning a lesson that placing all the blame on the people you love sometimes isn’t always fair,” Mitchell explains. “It’s about accepting yourself in relationships for who you are, especially if it’s a mess. I personally haven’t always made the right choices about who I’ve loved, but the important thing is you always learn from it and make sure you can move forward knowing you won’t make that mistake again.”
