Paul Brandt was announced as a 2017 Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame inductee yesterday. The induction ceremony will take place at a private industry event held during PotashCorp Country Music Week, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan from September 7-10, 2017.
CMAOntario Artists Perform With Jim Cuddy
The CMAOntario award show finale was truly the highlight of the night. Jim Cuddy of Blue Rodeo joined the CMAOntario artists for the grand finale, performing “Hasn’t Hit Me Yet”. Tim Hicks posted a photo from the finale with the caption:
“Career highlight for sure! Anyone who knows me knows how big of a Blue Rodeo fan I am. I sang “Hasn’t Hit Me Yet” every night for nearly 20 years. Last night I got to sing it next to Jim Cuddy. Wild 😲” – Tim Hicks
Tareya (of Autumn Hill) was supposed to present an award Sunday night at the CMAOntario Awards. Unfortunately, she was traveling to London, ON from the US and got held up at the border and couldn’t make it to the show.
Leaving Thomas shot a new video yesterday! They also got an official stamp of approval from Lady Antebellum on their cover of ‘Heart Break’.
