Michelle Branch has had quite a successful yet unusual career in music. She had two hugely successful pop-rock albums with The Spirit Room and Hotel Paper, she won a Grammy Award for her duet with Santana on “The Game of Love” and formed The Wreckers with gal-pal Jessica Harp, a successful, Grammy-nominated and wildly talented country duo who disbanded after only one critically-acclaimed album.
For years we kept hearing singles, but no new album from Michelle and it seemed even she was annoyed mentioning she has no clue what Warner Bros was doing with her career and why her albums were not given release dates.
Well, now it seems like new music is finally in the works. Michelle recently tweeted: “Beyond stoked. Heading to Nashville with @reeselasher – getting the new record started.”
We are beyond stoked too Michelle – let’s hope an actual album materializes for your fans, we’re ready for it!
