Hunter Brothers - Top Country Discovery Playlist - WIN Getaway - Saskatchewan Country Music Association Award Winners

WIN Hunter Brothers’ Debut Album Getaway!

Their highly-anticipated debut album, Getaway, is now available online and in stores! The album is a compilation of fun, light-hearted, uptempo tracks about love and small town life, inspired by the brothers’ life on the farm together. “Born and Raised” highlights their passion for where they come from, while “Those Were The Nights” is reminiscent of memories that will last a lifetime. A number of the songs on the record were co-written by High Valley’s Brad Rempel, and the duo also joins the Hunter Brothers on the upbeat, party track, “Country Stuff”.

The inspiration for the latest single, “Getaway” comes from ice-cold Canadian winters. “When you’re stuck under 3 feet of snow, particularly in Saskatchewan,” says lead singer Ty Hunter, “you need a bit of an escape from the winter blues! This song is really a playful take on being with the one you love, and their presence being your getaway! We had a blast writing this song with our producer Seth Mosely, and Brad Rempel from High Valley.” Watch the Getaway video today!

Luke, J.J., Ty, Brock and Dusty — a.k.a. the Hunter Brothers — are the epitome of Canadiana country. The five brothers from Shaunavon, Saskatchewan, grew up singing gospel with their family across Canada and the U.S., working on the family farm and playing hockey for the likes of the Kelowna Rockets and the Edmonton Oilers.

The 2017 Saskatchewan Country Music Association are this Saturday and the Hunter Brother are up for 4 awards; Fan’s Choice Entertainer of the Year, Group of the Year, Emerging Artist Award and Single of the Year (“El Dorado”).
