Wynonna‘s husband, Michael Scott “Cactus” Moser, was involved in a near fatal bike crash this past weekend in South Dakota. The singer was forced to postpone a string of tour dates here in Canada that she was to play with Canadian songstress, Victoria Banks.
Judd’s rep told TMZ earlier today that Cactus “severed” his leg in the crash. He was transported to a hospital in Rapid City, SD doctors determined it was necessary to amputate the leg above the knee. Moser also had to undergo surgery on his hand, which is a concern at this point, as he is the drummer in Wynonna’s band.
Wynonna also issued a statement yesterday saying: “The outpouring of prayer and support from friends, family and fans has been a blessing to both Cactus and I. Cactus is a champion. I love him deeply and I will not leave his side”.
The couple were married this past June in Tennessee.
