APPLE has officially joined the streaming game with their service Apple Music (AM) set to launch on June 30th. After a free 3-month trial, it will cost $9.99 a month, or $14.99 for a family plan for up to six people.
It will include a variety of programmed playlists created by its in-house team of editors and guest musicians. Users can also access Beats 1, a free, round-the-clock, global Internet radio station.
AM’s third feature is called Connects where artists can create their own content pages and post directly to social media. It is designed to be a hub, tying users into the Apple ecosystem.
