Just two months after Taylor Swift went public with her romance with Harry Styles, of boy-band sensation One Direction, the couple have split up according to several sources.
The couple, who spent Christmas apart, cozied up New Years’ Eve in New York City and jet-setted off to the British Virgin Islands for a little R&R on January 4th. Sources report the couple had a large fight and Taylor has since returned to the United States, cutting her trip short.
Swift, 23, and Styles, 18, were first spotted on the set of The X Factor holding hands back in November. They have been rendezvousing across the US since, including a double date ski-trip with Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez.
Sounds like more of Taylor’s signature “love-gone wrong” songs will be written in the next little while.
Her latest hit, ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’, released last month already has 24 million views on YouTube.
