TC: What inspired “Alcohol You Later”?
MT: I heard a man with a real southern accent tell his buddy “I’ll call you later” but I heard “alcohol you later” so I wrote that idea the next day.
TC: What do you hope listeners will feel when they hear the “Alcohol You Later”?
MT: I hope they will go back to a time where they’ve been through that, when you say it’s the end but it isn’t really the end. It doesn’t matter if it’s drinking or not. There is always something that reminds you of an ex.
TC: What is your favourite moment of your career so far?
MT: Favorite moment of my career so far is getting to play the Opry. That’s just something you dream about from day 1.
TC: Your dreams would come true if…
MT: My dreams are already coming true.
