Jason Aldean has done it again, his latest single ‘Take A Little Ride’ has been certified gold by the RIAA for 500,000 digital downloads. The track is the lead single from his album Night Train, which will hit shelves on October 16th.
This isn’t Aldean’s first run in with RIAA elite status. He’s had five singles certified gold and three of those three singles certified platinum for one million in sales. ‘Don’t You Wanna Stay’ featuring Kelly Clarkson was certified 2x platinum and Dirt Road Anthem was certified 3x platinum.
Aldean heads into the CMA Awards on November 1st with three nominations including Entertainer of the Year.
