If you’re unfamiliar with the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge it goes like this: people make a video of themselves dumping a bucket of ice water on their head and post it online challenging friends to do the same within 24 hours or donate $100 to ALS (with many people doing both).
According to the ALS Association website the Association has received $15.6 million in donations compared to $1.8 million during the same time period last year (July 29 – August 18) with these donations having come from existing donors and 307,598 new donors.
Country stars have been doing their part to create awareness and encourage donations by posting their own Ice Bucket Challenge videos and we’ve rounded up some of our favourites.
