The Calgary Stampede is still one day away but the organization has already raised more than $500,000 from the sales of their “Hell or High Water” t-shirts with the proceeds going to the Canadian Red Cross Alberta Floods Fund.
Over 80 volunteers from the Calgary community have joined together to prepare the more than 10,000 orders that are received daily for the t-shirts that are then shipped within Calgary and around the world.
The t-shirts are available online at the official Calgary Stampede store and feature the phrase “Hell or High Water”, which inadvertently became the festival’s unofficial tagline this year when it started appearing alongside social media attached to the Stampede. The shirts retail for $19.95 and they even offer a cleverly branded version available for children that reads “Heck or High Water”.
So if you aren’t one of those lucky enough to be attending the Stampede this year (or even if you are) be sure to show your support by purchasing one of these amazing t-shirts!
