Chris Young had a close call this past Friday when his tour bus almost went up in flames at a stop in Charlotte, North Carolina. According to Chris, the bus was about five seconds from being in flames. “There was smoke coming out of the back and it was red. We put it out with a fire extinguisher. Thank God we did,” said Chris. The singer is very grateful for the quick thinking of his tour manager who first noticed the problem and advised everyone to get off the bus immediately.
Unfortunately, this year hasn’t been a good one for tour buses of country musicians such as Jerrod Niemann, Justin Moore, Randy Houser and Lee Brice who have all had tour buses burn down. “Yeah, I don’t want to join the bus on fire club. I’m ok not being in that one.”
