- BEST DRESSED
Kellie Pickler
Kellie looked absolutely stunning on the red carpet in a magenta coloured cut-out gown. Kellie accessorized with sparkly platforms and a Thale Blanc clutch.
Luke Bryan
All men of country music should take note. THIS is how you dress up a pair of jeans for a red carpet. Luke looked handsome in a powder blue suit jacket, crisp white v-neck shirt, fitted blue jeans and black cowboy boots. It’s casual, it’s cool and he looks great.
Miranda Lambert & Carrie Underwood
Miranda & Carrie both looked stunning on the red carpet. Carrie wore a floral Roberto Cavalli gown with a plunging neckline and Miranda was a total knockout in a Celia Kritharioti sparkly mini dress.
LeAnn Rimes
This is the LeAnn I was hoping to see! A healthy and happy LeAnn stepped on the red carpet in a Rani Zakhem gown with a thigh high slit. LeAnn kept her hair in loose waves which worked perfectly with the flowing gown. Two thighs up!
Jana Kramer
Jana is back with a new single “Love” and that’s exactly how I feel about this look. Jana looked like a knockout in a beautiful Michael Costello gown. Eat your heart out Brantley!
Hunter Hayes
Hunter looked handsome (and fit) in a short sleeved shirt, tie, dress pants and dress shoes. My only complaint is Hunter should have ditched the blue belt and matched a brown belt to his shoes.
- WORST DRESSED
Jake Owen
Dude! Which way to the beach? We get it Jake, you love the sun and you like being barefoot but this is a red carpet. From the waist up Jake looks great – but the boat shoes, rolled up pants and black solo cup just aren’t red carpet worthy.
Jason Aldean
Those pants. I’m thrilled Jason decided to bring out some kneecap cleavage for the red carpet.
Shawna Thompson (Thompson Square)
Lighten up Shawna! There’s nothing exactly wrong with this look – but it’s just not right for the event. Shawna looked dark and drab on the carpet for the most fun awards in the country genre.
Brantley Gilbert
Once again Brantley has landed on my worst dressed list. A muscle shirt on the red carpet, always wrong in my mind – nobody wants to see your armpits. Brantley should have saved this look just for his performance. Had he covered up in a cool biker jacket this look he could have turned the look around.
Kimberly Perry (The Band Perry)
They are one of my favourite groups in country music and usually their looks are spot on. This is the Kimberley of three years ago when the band was just starting out. The white ruffles are just a little too immature for her and it just doesn’t translate well in pictures.
