As if celebrating a mega-cut with superstar Blake Shelton wasn’t enough, Deric Ruttan got a pretty cool tweet. The Bracebridge, ON native co-wrote the tune ‘Mine Would Be You’ on Blake Shelton’s latest album Based on a True Story.
Sheryl Crow tweeted about the song on Tuesday saying, “Just heard the best song I’ve heard in 10 years called ‘Mine Would Be You’.”
Deric posted the tweet in a photo saying, ” Holy Smoke. Sheryl Crow just tweeted about a song I wrote on the new Blake Shelton album. Day made.
