Yesterday, we kicked off our Top Country Favourites of 2016 with new country duo, Leaving Thomas. Today, we have the Top Country Favourites from an artist who’s powerful voice took the country music scene by storm this year with the release of her single ‘Workin’ on Whiskey‘.

Jessica Mitchell brought the crowd to their feet with a standing ovation after her performance of ‘Workin’ On Whiskey’ at the CMAOs this past year. In 2016, Jessica proved time and time again that she is a true artist with undeniable talent. From the first note, her voice has the ability to captivate any audience from those listening to the radio or those watching one of her incredible live performances.

One of our favourite moments from 2016 was when she took to Facebook Live to show the world how incredibly grateful and overjoyed she was to hear her single on the radio. We also can’t help but think of her every time we say the phrase ‘what’s happening?!‘ She expressed the statement time and time again as her career evolved over the past twelve months. This year, Jessica Mitchell happened and we couldn’t be more excited to see what 2017 holds for her.
