Leaving Thomas Joins MDM Recordings to Release Debut Single ‘Waiting Kind of Girl’

November 28, 2016; Toronto, ON / Calgary, AB – MDM Recordings Inc. (MDM) announced a new addition to their award-winning roster. Leaving Thomas, a Calgary-based energetic contemporary country duo, Annika Odegard and Bryton Udy join the MDM team, signing a 3-year licensing deal. The band will debut their first single, “Waiting Kind Of Girl”, to Canadian country radio on December 25, 2016. The single will be available worldwide on all digital platforms on December 30, 2016.

Infectious energy, raw honesty, and musical freshness define Leaving Thomas’ musicality and performance style. “Waiting Kind Of Girl” features Udy’s captivating guitar, which complements Odegard’s melodic vocals powerfully describing the trials and tribulations of a turbulent love. Singer/songwriters (and best friends!), Odegard and Udy teamed up with producer Spencer Cheyne and recorded the new single at Alberta-based OCL Studios. The single was co-written by Odegard, Udy, Christopher O’Neil.
