The ACM-nominated country duo Love and Theft were recently in town with Tim McGraw on his Two Lanes of Freedom Tour and Top Country got the chance to chat with them about what it’s like touring with Tim and the weirdest thing that has happened to them on tour so far!

What’s the best part about touring with Tim and Brantley?

Getting to work out with Tim as our trainer every day was epic.

A
Weird stuff happens to us so much that normal nights feel weird now.

What’s the most memorable moment to date in your career?
A
The first time we played the Grand Ole Opry and when Angel eyes went Number 1!

What’s your favorite song that you’ve written so far and what’s the story behind it?
A
I love songwriting so much, so it’s hard for me to pick a favorite song. It’s like picking a favorite child. So I guess one of my top favorites is a new song I wrote with a bunch of my buddies called “Let’s Get Drunk and Make Friends”. It’s fun to play live and people react to it and are singing along by the end.
