Taylor Swift has announced that her new album, Red, will hit stores worldwide on Tuesday October 22nd. This will be the fourth release from Swift on her beloved label, Big Machine Records.
“For the last two years, I’ve been working on an album called Red,” Taylor says. “I called it Red because of the tumultuous, crazy adventures in love and loss that it chronicles. In my mind, when you experience love that’s fast paced and out of control and mixes infatuation, jealousy, frustration, miscommunication, and all of those lovely emotions…in retrospect, it all looks red.”
The singer’s first song off Red was released last week. Instantly, ‘We Are Never Getting Back Together’ became the #1 song on iTunes. You can check out the lyric video below. Country? Not country? You decide.
