Tim Hicks

Tim received multiple awards on Monday at his original ‘Stompin’ Ground’ – Grace O’Malley’s – the Toronto bar where he spent many nights perfecting his live show before his career took off. He was presented with two platinum plaques for ‘Get By’ & ‘Stronger Beer’. As well, he was surprised with two road golds from CIMA.

Blackjack Billy

Tim Hicks also surprised Blackjack Billy fans on Friday night in Barrie, ON. Fans were expecting James Barker Band to be the surprise guest that night. However, Jeff Coplan from Blackjack Billy started singing ‘Stronger Beer’ – which he co-wrote with Tim – and Tim Hicks came onstage to join the band. Not only did Tim surprise the crowd but he also surprised Jeff on stage with a platinum plaque for Stronger Beer.

Lindsay Ell

Lindsay Ell hung out with Kelsea Ballerini, Lauren Alaina & more female country artists on Monday night. They took the night to congratulate each other and talk about the challenges they face.

The Lovelocks

Zoe from The Lovelocks shared on Snapchat, “After listening to hundreds of pitches and writing over 40 songs”…they are now recording their next project at Sound Emporium Studio in Nashville.

Dean Brody

Dean will represent Canadian country music at Parliament Hill during the Canada Day celebration this Saturday. See his Canada Day must-haves here.

Brett Kissel

Yesterday, Brett Kissel and his family (including Charlie) visited his grandparents in Phoenix. The trip was documented on Brett’s Instagram stories.
